Former Nigeria defender, Joseph Yobo has thrown his weight behind Super Eagles to win fourth tittle in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Addressing newsmen on Monday night, after completing the draw, Yobo said that the Super Eagles are in a challenging group however remains confident that the team can clinch the title.
The 44 years old, who assisted Nigeria with the tournament’s draw, believes the country has a strong squad capable of winning it all.
Recall that Gistzone had reported that Super Eagles have been drawn into Group C, alongside former AFCON champions Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania.
He said: “We have a very talented team, and the players are continuing to improve.
“We have some of the best players in this generation, and they showed their potential at the last AFCON.
“While the group is tough, I have no doubt that the Super Eagles will make it out.

“I hope we start strong and carry that momentum all the way to the final. We’re building on our performance from AFCON 2023, and it’s time we bring the trophy back.

AFCON 2025, scheduled from December 21st, 2025, to January 18th, 2026, promises thrilling encounters with 24 nations vying for glory in Morocco.
