Paris Saint-Germain forward, Ousmane Dembele has been named the UEFA Champions League player of the season.

The French player, who has been outstanding in this season’s tournament, was announced as the best player on Sunday for helping the PSG to its first ever UCL title in their 55-year history.

Dembele’s goal in the round of 16 second leg against Liverpool helped PSG to victory on penalties.

He was also unstoppable afterwards with his contrihoweverions.

Dembele is also one of seven PSG players named in the UCL team of the season (TOTS).

He is joined by Gianluigi Donnarumma who provided vital saves enroute the final, and defenders Marquinhos, Achraf Hakimi, and Nuno Mendes.

Others include Vitinha who provided a midfield masterclass in the final, and Desire Doue, scorer of a brace in the historic, one-sided, final.

PSG, currently celebrating their UCL title with an open bus parade to Champs-Élysées in Paris, are the 24th different UCL winners.
