Professor Babs Olusegun Onabanjo, recognized scholar and philanthropist, was recently honored on his birthday with celebrations held simultaneously in Lagos, Atlanta and Washington, DC

Onabanjo, co -founder of the Ad King Foundation together with Mrs. Naomi Ruth Barber King in 2008, was described as a global visionary leader and defender of non -violent changes by supporters.

In a joint message of goodwill, ambassadors Taiwo and Kehinde Oguntoye, together with the management of Atlantic Digest, praised him as “a remarkable educator, philanthropist and empowerment lighthouse whose work continues to inspire through the continents.”

They highlighted their four decades of pioneer contributions in management, education, computer science and leadership. His academic trip includes roles in the state of Alabama, Morris Brown College and the Atlanta Metropolitan State College, where he currently serves as president of the Senate of the Faculty and professor in the Business and Computer Division.

As president and CEO of the Ad King Foundation, Onabanjo has promoted youth empowerment, entrepreneurship and the defense of civil rights worldwide. The Foundation is also attributed the production of the documentary Rev. Ad Williams King: Here is the dream, brother of the dreamer.

In particular, at the 15th Annual Youth Empowerment Gala of the Ad King Foundation, their effort to unite Israeli and African -American leaders earned him the Global Bridge Builder For Peace Prize.

In Lagos, the young people joined the celebrations, offering prayers for their good health and their continuous service to humanity.

Professor Onabanjo previously served as president of the Martin Luther King Foundation in Washington, DC, which reinforces his long -standing commitment to social justice and non -violent leadership.
