Nigeria’s economy grew by 4.43% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2026, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

The figure is higher than the 3.89% recorded in Q1 2026 and 4.23% recorded in Q2 2025.

Growth was supported by stronger performances in both the oil and non-oil sectors.
