Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has called on the Nigerian Army to consider establishing the headquarters of the 83 Division in Delta State.

The governor made the call while highlighting the strategic importance of Delta to national security and military operations.

Oborevwori said locating the division’s headquarters in the state would strengthen security and improve the Army’s operational presence in the region.

He also reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to supporting security agencies and promoting peace across Delta State.

The governor urged the Nigerian Army to give the proposal serious consideration.
