The Nollywood Lateef Star Adedimeji is enjoying a wave of emotion and gratitude after the massive success of her movie Lisabi in the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), where the cultural epic was obtained three victories of ten nominations, including the best makeup address, and the best indigenous indigenous language film (Africa Western).

While talking in an interview, Adedimeji opened about the intense creative journey behind Lisabi, a film that copied with his wife, actress Mo Bimpe, describing him as a love work that tested his limits and faith.

“Lisabi, the cinematographic masterpiece that my wife and I poured our hearts and souls, we made history last night … Wow! Lisabi Deeeee!” The actor said.

“We sail through treacherous waters, resist storms and face the detractors, but we are high, uninterrupted and without flinching.”

Adedimeji showed fans and followers whose votes helped ensure the victory of Amvca de Lisabi in the best indigenous category, recognizing that his loyalty was the wind under the wings of the film.

“I want to thank our fans, friends and family who believed in us from the beginning. His unwavering support and breath fed our passion,” he said.

Lateef also praised his nominees, declaring: “I am celebrating all the nominees, winners or not, we are all winners in my book. Your hard work, talent and perseverance are the soul of our industry.”

“We transform the adversity into fuel for our creative fire, and tonight, we are enjoying the glory of our triumph. We are humiliated, grateful and astonished by this blessing.”
