The former companion of Big Brother Naija, Anita Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has caused online conversations after sharing her bold opinions about relationships, establishment and life abroad.

Speaking on the podcast network on YouTube, Tacha urged young women to take control of their love lives and avoid hurrying in commitments.

“You need another three boyfriends in your life … I’m not saying that I sleep with all the bride and groom. But at least … you never really know it,” he said.

The reality show star emphasized that women must remain independent to marriage.

“All girls must be single until they are really married … don’t let your boyfriend prevents you from meeting your husband,” he added.

Tacha also approached the double scratches between men and women in society.

“The type of grace that boys have is not the same type of grace we have. Therefore, we must be able to move differently,” he explained.

In life abroad, he admitted that he comes with challenges despite appearing glamorous online.

“As much as it is difficult here in Nigeria, it is also difficult. It is even more difficult abroad, honestly,” he said, describing loneliness, financial tension and pressure to maintain appearances.

Tacha related his personal struggles, including the loss of luggage in Paris, while noting that Nigeria’s community spirit often facilitates life at home.

“You can go to your crossing and say: ‘Mom Ki, give me something of 7,000. At the end of the month, I will pay you.’ I feel that there is much more than being happy and brilliant here in Nigeria than in the United Kingdom,” he said.

Fogming the Nigerians to use their audacity to promote a positive change, Tacha added: “With the loud and the resistant they are, we should actually use that robustness to obtain what we want in the country … It took us a long time to get here. Therefore, it would take a long time to try to change the notion that the world has about Nigeria.”
