Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has unveiled a 31-man provisional squad ahead of Nigeria’s 2026 World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda and South Africa.
The team will host Rwanda before traveling to Bloemfontein to face South Africa on September 9.
Chelle retained key players including captain William Troost-Ekong, Victor Osimhen, Victor Boniface, Stanley Nwabali, and Calvin Bassey as the team looks to boost its chances of advancing from Group C.

Currently, Nigeria sits fourth with seven points, behind South Africa, Rwanda, and Benin Republic, making these fixtures crucial for qualification.
