Ogebe said that the killings of innocent people has left her unable to sleep.

Her remarks is coming after a series of brutal attacks on villages in Otukpo and Otobi-Akpa within the Otukpo local government area of the state.

Recall that Gistzone had reported that some armed assailants invaded the communities, setting homes ablaze, displacing countless families, and leaving behind a trail of devastation and loss.

She urged concerned authorities to take immediate action to protect citizens and restore peace in a region that has been marred by violence for too long.

Ogebe wrote: “Why all the killing? What is their goal?

“Why is the government silent in the face of such brutality?

“Do they not know how to respond, or are they choosing to remain indifferent?

“I find it hard to sleep these days because of the tragic events unfolding in Benue State. It’s unbearable.”
